Review of Peeping Tom (1960) by James R — 07 Nov 2011
I find this hard to believe this was so controversial back in 1960, but hey the times changed. I really enjoyed this horror film. It reminded me so much of Hitchcock films and I felt like some of the shots could have been shot by him! The killer even reminded me of the child killer in the movie M.
The story is creepy, but not exactly scary. It has a nice build up of the crazed killer murdering girls, but is never too over the top. I am glad to have seen this film and any horror/thriller fans should give it a look.
