Review of Peeping Tom (1960) by Leaflock- S — 27 Feb 2009
This film destroyed Michael Powell's career - it was way ahead of its time, although much of it now looks dated. The film follows Mark Lewis (Karlheinz Bohm aka Carl Boehm) as he murders women - whilst he films their look of fear.
The reasons behind him wanting to do this, and the reason for their look of fear become apparent as the film progresses. I found the film interesting as it is filmed from the perspective of the killer - we see things from his point of view although I certainly didn't feel any sympathy for him.
