The Good:
The movie is hillarious, and earnestly funny, and works for audience of all ages. This will no doubt produce genuine laughters even to those without past knowledge of the character. Paul Reuben killed it as Pee-Wee. His charming bromance chemistry with Joe Manganiello is so contagious, you will wish to have a bestie like him after seeing this movie. The morale of the movie "Live life a little" might seem simple, but it's strong and important.
The Not-so-Good:
Having prior knowledge to Pee-Wee and his universe would really help to get a bigger experience. The makeup work to make Reuben look much younger than his age can be rather creepy at times.
