Review of Pee-wee's Big Adventure (1985) by Logan R — 05 Apr 2010

Fantastically fun viewing. Paul Reubens turns in an annoying yet endearing peformance as Pee-Wee, an annoying and endearing character. Of course as the film goes on, you start to care for him more, whereas at the start you just want him to shut the fuck up.

With that in mind, I doubt the kids would notice (although they are likely to notice the freaky hitchhiking scene with 'Large Marge') and it remains a pleasant and enjoyable journey, giving the audience the adventure they are promised in the title.
