Review of Pee-wee's Big Adventure (1985) by Shaun L — 12 Nov 2012

A movie enjoyable for both young and old. With some clever cameo's and odd characters it's a great 80's experience. Reubens is who gave Tim Burton his start, and I'm starting to wonder why so many of his movies feature male leads (does he hire anyone aside from Johnny Depp?) with pale complexions who are usually childish with ambiguous sexuality.

Could they be homages to Pee-wee? Should've just cast Pee-Wee as Willy Wonka.
