You really need to be in the right mood for this movie. Some of the mannerisms of the characters are those incredibly annoying ones you try to beat out of your children and their friends ;p.
I barely watched it (I wasn't in the right mood) but it's probably a good movie for kids and if you watched it as a kid you'd likely still like it.
