Review of Pecking Order (2017) by Colin%20 M — 01 Jun 2017
This is a funny and insightful documentary that I really enjoyed. It is warm hearted, but shows eccentricity and the competitive drive that you often find amongst hobbyists. There wonderful real life characters.
The film is fun, but does not make fun of the participants, but provides a fascinating insight into their obsession with breeding and showing the best chickens. There is also a great story around the struggle for control of the club, as it approaches its 150th anniversary.
