Review of Pecker (2010) by Chad F — 13 Jun 2008
Very cute and manages to be entertaining all the way through because of John Waters' "i don't care what you think" style. Crude humor is the core of the movie, like in most of his movies, but somehow this one feels a little more innocent than the majority of films in his catalog.
Edward Furlong is always pretty lovable, and so is Christina Ricci, especially when she's as chubby as she is in this flick. The best part of the movie is the sugar-obsessed little sister, by far.
She's nuts. Worth a look for people who like...weird comedies.
