Not John Waters best film, but certainly not his worst. It has its funny moments. The Baltimore locals are all portrayed as fairly likable characters, while the NYC art community is seen as rather snobbish.
Baltimore gets its revenge in the end, though, as if anyone would expect anything different from Waters!
