Review of Pearl Jam Twenty (2011) by Michael G — 20 Sep 2011
Great documentary and a must see for any Pearl Jam fan. The 2nd decade doesn't get much attention unfortunately. But there is plenty of history here from the Mother Love Bone days to their rise to superstardom.
The band members all talk honestly about the trials they've overcome: overnight success, the death of Kurt Cobain, the fight against Ticketmaster, the deaths of 9 fans at Roskilde. The film showcases how they've managed to keep fighting, stay together, and become the band they've always wanted to be.
