This is a fantastic chronicle of exactly what the band wants you to know. This is absolutely a love letter from Cameron Crowe, with unbelievable footage documenting every step of the way. There's no real insight or exposure. The band was obviously in full control of the content and they REALLY glossed over what happened with their drummers.
Doesn't matter, though. If you're a Pearl Jam fan, this movie is incredible. It really is a must see for the archival footage alone.
