If there's one thing this film helped me realize, it's a respect for and perhaps also fascination with Pearl Jam as musicians who are honest with themselves and their fans. To be reminded of the fact that they refuse to play the same set from night to night says much of what they've become.
Maybe the best facet to all this is knowing not everyone will remember them for doing what they do, which is being themselves.
