It is amazing how hyperbolic conservative propaganda and Hollywood romance can deflate an already over-acted, mis-directed, and blatantly careless nationalistic film. "Pearl Harbor" embodies the very self-delusion of the United States.
How appropriate that Michael Bay should direct such a film.
