Review of Pearl Harbor (2001) by Scott M — 04 Dec 2012
Pearl Harbor is filled with terrible dialogue, a horrible opening act and middle may I add. That leads up to a horribly directed action sequence and as Michael Bay has proven in every single one of his films, he doesn't know what he's doing.
It tries to "hollywoodize" a tragic event, in a very very unrealistic and stupid way. During the action scenes, Michael Bay shows us yet again he doesn't know anything about camera placement or how to keep it still when its supposed to be.
The first 90 minutes of this movie, are terrible, the rest of the film is average.
