Review of Pearl Harbor (2001) by Zack N — 16 Dec 2013

I want to do this movie justice , it has been panned by 85% of critics. With good reason ; but I feel like when critics went and saw this movie , they thought they was in for a, accurate historical epic , I think they just missed the point completely , I don't necessarily disagree with the critics saying that it doesn't follow the story of Pearl Harbor and anyone who doesn't know the story of Pearl Harbor and watches it , they will indeed think that's what really happened , its like if they did a remake of Titanic , and the ship made it to New York , and got blew up and was sunk by a suicide bomber.

But back to my point , when I said that I feel like the critics missed the point , they thought that they were watching a documentary on Discovery Channel and took every little detail personally. I like this movie , for its cheesy love story , funny moments and exceptional special effects .

And you got to love Alec Baldwin's performance , he just made the movie epic .
