Review of Peacock (2005) by Amanda H — 12 Jan 2013
Cillian Murphy is a very rare breed of actor- the type who can make you suspend all reality and draw you into the film as though it were life. Every time I see him, I forget who he is and become completely engrossed in his character, and this is possibly the most impressive performance I've seen from him yet.
The film as a whole is disturbing and painfully sad despite its disappointing ending, and on the whole I was quite moved by it.
