This movie was very close to the book. I was ready to dislike it because the book was so amazing. I was impressed with the portrayal of Socrates. Nick Nolte did a very good job for such a deep character.
It would have been easy to make him come accross pompous. He did not make him seem that way at all. I'm just happy this was finally released on DVD.
