Review of Peaceful Warrior (2006) by Keith C — 10 Apr 2011
Before watching this film one might expect for the climax to go something like the karate kid. Good kid wins, bad kid loses, teacher is proud. But this film is not the karate kid. Having a typical hero ending would contradict the very lessons the writer is trying to teach.
This film is well constructed around the authors ideologies. Dan learns that the journey is better then the destination. This movie is better then it's climax. If your watching the movie hoping to see dan win the gold, you'll hate it.
If you just watch the movie...
