Review of Peace, Love & Misunderstanding (2011) by Richard Y — 03 Feb 2013
A suppose in earlier years I would've been capable of loving this movie with it's setting in Woodstock and it's involvement of Jane Fonda. The only reason I wanted to watch it now is because of the involvement of Elizabeth Olsen, who I first saw and was indelibly smitten with in Martha Marcy May Marlene.
And unfortunately, the movie didn't allow her to stretch her acting limbs because the movie as a whole was dull and formulaic to the point of inducing the gag reflex. I still love Liz, but I hope in the future she does better projects.
