Review of Paycheck (2003) by Aaron K — 29 Aug 2008

I was hoping for something more along the lines of Minority Report, as this is a better Philip K. Dick story. Unfortunately, the combo of mediocre actors and a bunch of meaningless action scenes hamfisted into the plot made this a so-so movie.

Entertaining, but nowhere near as good as the short story. Woo's directing lacks finesse - what could have been a thoughtful and plot-driven film became a semi-dumb action flick.
