It's a great idea for a movie, but it could have been done better. I agree that Uma Thurman was a bit wooden in this movie, and somebody mentioned in their review that "a whole series of stock-standard action movie clichés bombard the second half", and I have to agree, it became predictable and for me, having skipped going out to watch it on tv I did feel some regrets having made that decision.
I avoided seeing this movie for the longest time, for some reason I believed it starred either Arnold Schwarzenegger, Sylvester Stallone, or Mel Gibson.. and I don't need to see that!
