Review of Paycheck (2003) by Ronald S — 13 Aug 2011
Not as good as the other Philip K. Dick movies I've seen. Much of the cinematography looks TV-movie quality (was it a TV movie?), Thurman looks inexplicably old and/or bedraggled, and Affleck once again fails to sell the action-star persona.
Still, there are a couple of things worth discussing and a scene or two of halfway decent action, and the premise is somewhat intriguing. Overall, I would not call this movie a waste of money, but I wouldn't have minded missing it either.
