Review of Paycheck (2003) by Christopher H — 11 Sep 2012
Paycheck is a surprising disappointment, but is still good. the storyline is incredibly new and the plot developments are great. the cast must have seemed like a good idea at the time, but they perform unspectacularly, uma thurman largely.
and the over-used action at the end just seemed highly unlikely and tiring. the soundtrack was okay, but left nothing to deplore, and the way it was directed just seemed unbalanced and teetering, like the whole project was going to collapse at any stage.
but, despite all these bad points, its well worth it for the fantastical, yet fantastic storyline, and baffling clues the audience will love to have a crack at cracking.
