Review of Payback (1999) by Karel D — 29 Jun 2011

So first of all, the script isn't that remarkable. Secondly, the violence is good but uncalled for most of the time. And last but not least, my biggest issue with Payback: the fact that I still like it.

Can't really say why. Probably the hard-ass mentality perfectly portrayed by Mel Gibson and the dark atmosphere in which the surroundings are drenched all of the time. I simply can't help it: I adore this film! Cult is the word!
