Spectacles come and go but this movie moves something in you every time you watch it. It just makes your rusty idealist clockwork ticking again no matter how many years passed since you last saw it. clockwork that is so relentlessly beaten up by everyday gray reality that everyone eventually surrenders to.

Thats why films like those are so few but so important.
