Review of Pay It Forward (2000) by Matt M — 16 Aug 2013

An overtly melodramatic drama about a kid who comes up with a utopian idea to do good deeds for a school project that goes on to inspire a lot of people. There simply isn't much to praise in this predictably sloppy drama where even the performances crumble under the weight of the mediocre adaptation and a structure which builds up to an ending that will make most either squirm or roll their eyes.
