Review of Pawn Sacrifice (2015) by Anthony H — 24 Sep 2015

Good movie, has its own style in terms of being filmed, although sometimes takes away from the overall narrative of Bobby Fischer's way to the world championship. Tobey Maguire does his best, but ends up showing the overacting side of him everyone either really loves or really hates.

Liev Schreiber gives a subtle but honest performance, overall the film was pretty good but could have been escalated better with a few different casting choices and script re-writes.
