Review of Pawn Sacrifice (2015) by Thomas D — 29 Sep 2015
This film is well made in that it shows us the chess life of Bobby Fisher and his brilliance in chess strategy. However, the lack of showing us clear shots of important chess moves in important scenes makes me rate this film four stars. As a chess player, I was expecting to see the chess scenes in greater detail.
Nonetheless, Pawn Sacrifice still is a cinamatic masterpiece.
