I was pleasantly surprised whilst watching this movie. I only watched it because nothing else was on TV - is there any other situation when watching a movie in which Adam Sandler was involved in is an acceptable past-time?
But this movie transcended the usual Sandler fare I felt. For one, I actually laughed a bit. Maybe I'm mellowing, I don't know.
But I felt for Kevin James' character, and I'm inclined to agree with the infamous review from Roger Ebert - this movie isn't as bad as you'd think it would be.
