Review of Paul Blart: Mall Cop (2009) by Leo N — 03 Nov 2013
Once in every generation there is a film that astounds, inspires and ultimately defines the time period of when it was made. Casablanca, The Godfather, The Shawshank Redemption, Paul Blart: Mall Cop. You can be forgiven for assuming this is but a bumbling slapstick comedy involving an overweight security guard finding himself in all sorts of trouble, for it is a beautifully constructed work of art which is full of suspense, romance and of course the occasional fat man on a segway gag.
Paul Blart isn't just your average half-arsed comedy, Paul Blart: Mall Cop is the greatest film of all time.
