Review of Paul Blart: Mall Cop (2009) by Martin R — 08 Jan 2014
[1/8/14] Okay, I saw a few movies today and so I'll set the record straight just because I want to. I watched "Army of Darkness" at noon-ish (I know because I had a veggie burger for lunch).
I saw "Paul Blart" at around 3pm and then at 7:50pm-ish, I rented "Sharknado" (I know because I finished watching the film at like 9:40). Unlike "Sharknado," which was completely unjoyable, I was actually able to get some kicks out of "Mall Cop" because there was plenty of decent material to make fun of.
Hey, I'd have given this movie two stars had it not been for my own trash-talking. In reference to my own "Sharknado" review, I'm not sure why I used Titanic instead of "Paul Blart"--oh well.
If you watch this film, you're probably going to be very disappointed (I know I wouldn't have laughed if I hadn't been adding my own commentary the whole time). Still better than "Sharknado" though.
