Review of Paul Blart: Mall Cop (2009) by Virginitypledge — 24 Dec 2020
Paul Blart’s endearing character and heroic actions brought my friends and I closer together this Christmas. I became a “Die Hard” fan moments into the film, even looking up Paul Blart merchandise to purchase later since I am a newly enthusiastic and proud Paul Blart fan.
I relate to Blart’s hypoglycemia and enjoy the use of humor to lightheartedly cope with the condition. Many people will relate to the themes in the film such as lonliness, doubt, insecurities, and overcoming adversity.
This film will bring joy to all people just like it has brought joy to me. It has had a positive impact in my life. Some critics may be negative by calling the film kitschy and insignificant, but it is really a projection of their personal failures and lack of redemption arc in their own lives.
I hope you all enjoy this film and it changes your lives as well.
