Review of Paul Blart: Mall Cop (2009) by Nick C — 28 Apr 2012
God Lord. To be honest, if it weren't for Kevin James being Kevin James this movie would be a 1/5. Paul Blart: Mall Cop really doesn't even choose a set plot...trailer shows that it's about people taking over the mall, yet it's really all about Blart trying to find someone special? I also love how his daughter is just randomly in the mall when it's held up.
Seriously, James has several laugh out loud lines, mainly poking fun at his weight and food; however, that's not nearly enough to save this completely unrealistic, quick-paced, stupid movie. Happy Madison is only getting worse and worse.
At least Strange Wilderness knew it was a shitty movie and had laughs throughout.
