This movie really digs below the surface to show the utterly depressing and remarkably unfunny life of titular character Paul Blart. Paul Blart is a mall cop, who is incredibly incompetent at nearly everything he attempts.
Kevin James was perfectly cast as Mr. Blart, showing limited range, but owning the role amazingly. The acting was so natural it was as if Kevin James wasn't acting at all.
