Review of Paul, Apostle of Christ (2018) by Lawrence E — 07 Apr 2018

As usual, critics completely miss the point here, this movie is meant to uplift people and actually influence their lives. It is not the usual Hollywood mush meant to take up 90 minutes of your life and leave you hungry for something rea.

I must warn you that the first 20 minutes or so are kind of mundane, especially to people used to fluff and special effects designed to dazzle. But like all great storytelling, it draws you in little by little, and is not nearly as predictable as one might think, given that it covers things that are a part of the most widely read book in human history. The cinematography is outstanding, the acting way above what Hollywood usually throws up, and the message timeless. This is the best Movie I have seen in the last 3 or 4 years by a wide margin.
