Review of Paul (2011) by Jonathanc — 18 Oct 2011
Once again, Britain shows Hollywood how its done. Pegg has done it again. Paul is done with just the right amount of Hollywood, any more and it would have failed. The Theatrical cut is more hollywood that the unrated - watch the unrated, its far better with more character and quirkiness.
Frost is absolutely brilliant as well, and they both captured the proper interpretation of what an intellectual, slightly boyish, nerdy geek is. Not the hollywood stereotype, but more to the real. The CGI is great, story is simple but fun and witty.
