I usually don't care for this genre of film. The "spoof" usually bores me because the jokes and references are just so lame they're not even worth watching on Sunday afternoon in the middle of a blizzard.

But this one I loved. I enjoyed Rogen as Paul and was glad I didn't have to watch him but his delivery was on spot. The only one I found annoying was Kirsten Wig. She's determined to turn women into stupid while lost at a rest stop.

I loved the references and homage to the sci fi films of the past. I actually laughed out loud at some of the gimmicks. Loved the bar scene with the music from Star Wars and the "that's when the fight started".

So many references to films that are truly classic and this one just was leaps better than most of this genre can be.
