Its filled with plenty of geek and pop culture referencing. But Paul's pacing, non clever script and religious bashing just took out all the momentum the film ever got. Luckily this film is not on the level of Shaun of the Dead and Hot Fuzz,probably because those two films do not contain those things.
Sadly Paul was a failure, albeit a few times quite funny, for me.
