Review of Paul (2011) by Jim F — 12 Oct 2012
I think it's safe to know what to expect from any comedy starring Simon Pegg and Nick Frost nowadays. Likewise, it's pretty safe to assume what kind of humour to expect from anything starring Seth Rogen.
Here we have a mixture of the two, which pretty much follows the formula for either the British or American style of nerd/stoner humour. What with the fantastic Big Bang Theory, we have a danger of this humour burning itself out and becomming pretty dated pretty quickly.
This already had a sniff of mothballs about it, but it's still enjoyable enough if that is what you seek.
