I didn't quite enjoy this as much as Shaun Of The Dead or Hot Fuzz, but I still think the comedy partnership of Simon Pegg & Nick Frost works on a funny level.

This seemed aimed at American audiences whereas their first two cinema outings were catered for a British sense of humour.

Still, the in-jokes to sci-fi and Spielberg movies raised a smile and it was a stroke of genius to cast Seth Rogen as the pot-smoking, foul-mouthed alien.
