Don't ask why this movie is brilliant. Perhaps its Scott, perhaps its the eccentric reality of this insanity in 20th century history. Perhaps its the completely surprising introduction that may have dissertations written up on it somewhere and perhaps its the ultimate fragility and sure death of those who would be giants that is so gripping.
