Having a great love for all things related to military history, I instantly fell in love with this movie, literaly from the very beginning was George C Scott appeared and gave Patton's intro speech I knew that no one else could have don such a great job, following the intro speech, which is almost word for word on of Patton's speeches, the movie shows the controversial role of patton exactly how it happened, I learned more about patton the campaigns he took part in from this movie than any other book i've read about ww2 so war, called this movie absolutely phenomenal would be in my opinion a huge understatement.
