Review of Patton (1970) by Jeff B — 21 Feb 2009
Amazing movie, it's been years since I saw it so I figured I'd check it out again because of awards season. George C Scott gives a towering performance as the the title General, he's just so perfect and carries the film, making the 3 hours fly by.
And Karl Malden is also excellent in his small roles as General Bradley. The opening scene is so perfect and classic. And man, that score is so great, one of my favorites. A really great war film and biopic.
