A classic..from the iconic opeing scene, right thru the enthralling middle, and to the interesting close, this movie is brilliant.. I didnt know wat to expect when I first watched this; an old 3 hour war movie didnt really have me that excited.
. but wow, this is an amazing movie.. the story is brilliantly written, and directed.. and of course, george c. scott's performance was classic.. the fact that it is a biographical movie makes it even more amazing.
. this is a must-watch movie, a true classic.
