Review of Patton (1970) by Gavin P — 31 Jul 2010
A truly remarkable & epic warm film - especially considering it was made 40 years ago! George S. Patton is a great (real-life!) character & makes watching the almost 3 hours of this film easy. I love how it spans almost all of World War II (well, at least all of America's involvement) and starts off almost like what the ending should be like! A great score add to the amazing visuals of each county & the truly amazing scale of extras & props that were used.
Easy to see why it's an Oscar winner!
