Review of Patton (1970) by Lee G — 01 Mar 2011
Oscar-winning turn for Scott in this, perhaps the last "classic" war film, before the genre became more explicit and graphically violent during the late 70s and early 80s. Great score, dynamic cinematography, and epic scope make this a truly triumphant achievement worthy of all the praise lavished upon it over the past few decades.
