My personal favorite war movie, dealing with the harsh realities of politics vs. morality. The film is unflenching and even contoversial in its portrayal of American society and attitudes towards violence, and it's highlighted by George C.
Scott's incredible performance, fashioning one of cinema's greatest characters.
