Review of Patton (1970) by John B — 31 Jan 2014
George C. Scott is outstanding as Patton. In comparison to the cuddly Eisenhower, Patton was the ruthless driver of his men and was determined to quickly win the war in Europe. The Scott monologue to commence the film is the stuff of legends as is the rest of the performance.
