Review of Patton (1970) by Matthew T — 02 Aug 2014
One of my favorite war movies and possibly number one. the movie has a lot of heart and strong build up around our main character alowing strong sympathetic feelings towards (even though he is kind of tough) but it just makes more interesting as to what he does and why.
the feel and historical side of world war two is kind of accurate and allows the the movie to sit you down and tell you a story that was long ago. the visual are sympathetic and very clear were able to visualize in your own eyes as to want is going on.
lastly is just George C. Scott as Patton my goss he owns it his strong tough acting followed by his surprising sympathetic style has left me amazed making not just one of my favorite character in movies but as a real life person, though he is harsh but that how he was a tough general who keeps pushing forward towards even though it will hurt him even if its over and it also shows how brutal world war 2 was allowing him to push harder never backing down and surprisingly it kind of shows he cares for his soldiers.
