Review of Patton (1970) by Hugo S — 19 Aug 2012
Even though it glorifies war (back when Americans did go to war, rather than commiting terrorist attacks, as they do these days) it still works wonderfully as a character study. Scott's performance is nothing short of amazing.
He's astonishing, he manages to make this unlikeable General a compelling character. The war scenes are impressive and the score stucks in your head for hours after the movie is over. Pretty good.
